Congratulatory message on “Japan Times”
We are pleased to announce that our company was featured in the November 9 issue of “Japan Times”, commemorating the 71st anniversary of the Kingdom of Cambodia’s independence.
Since establishing our Cambodian factory in 2012, we have been deeply connected with the country and have undertaken a range of initiatives. As part of our local operations, we started to launch a new MARUGAME UDON franchise, which has grown to four locations as of today.
In addition to our core business activities and local hiring practices, we have contributed to the community by providing futsal courts, donating soccer balls, and supplying school stationeries.
From 2021 to 2023, we showed our support for Cambodia during the challenging COVID-19 period by displaying the “Cambodia Kingdom of Wonder” logo on the uniforms of Shimizu S-Pulse, a J.League club. This marked the first time a country’s name appeared on a J.League club uniform in their history over 30 years. For each of the past three years, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Cambodia to Japan has attended these matches, and kick-in ceremonies have been held in honor of the partnership.
Cambodia, therefore, holds a special place in Taica group beyond our business activities. We remain committed to exploring new avenues for international collaboration, aiming to strengthen ties between Japan and Cambodia.
