Products and Services

  • ■We will always emphasize customers’ perspectives and give careful consideration to safety and quality by developing and supplying excellent products and services to our customers.
  • ■We will supply appropriate information to customers by eliminating spurious or misleading claims with respect to our products and services. In addition, we will assign a contact person to respond directly to inquiries concerning our products and services.

Legal Compliance

  • ■We will comply with all laws and regulations, particularly antitrust legislation, and encourage fair competition.
  • ■We will establish appropriate procurement procedures which comply with laws and regulations and make responsible purchases in accordance with our procurement management policy.
  • ■We will comply with laws and regulations related to imports / exports implemented within Japan and abroad and properly import / export products, technologies, and services.
  • ■In the course of global business activities, we will not only comply with international rules and local laws and regulations but will also respect local cultures and customs.

Compliance with Social Norms

  • ■We will maintain a strict policy regarding acceptance of entertainment and gifts and maintain appropriate relationships with our customers.
  • ■We will act in compliance with laws and regulations regarding political donations and will maintain a transparent relationship with politics and government.
  • ■We will have no relationship with criminal organizations of any kind.

Appropriate Management of Information

  • ■We will appropriately manage confidential corporate information and personal information obtained in the normal course of business. We will not disclose such information to third parties without permission and will not use the information beyond the intended purpose of use.
  • ■We will protect and manage our intellectual property rights in an appropriate manner, pursuant to the related laws and regulations as well as to our own corporate policies. In addition, we will respect the intellectual property rights of third parties and will not intentionally infringe such rights or illegally use such property.
  • ■We will enhance communication with shareholders and other stakeholders by delivering and collecting information in a timely and appropriate manner.

Respect of Individuals

  • ■We will in no way discriminate against or harass our employees on the grounds of gender, belief, physical condition, or social status. We will foster a working environment in which all employees may achieve their potential. Additionally, we will provide career and skills development that meets the individual needs of our employees.

Compliance Framework

  • ■The Internal Audit Office will accept reports of suspected corporate ethics infractions and will work to promote early detection and prevention of misconduct.
  • ■We will establish a crisis management system to anticipate and prevent problems before they occur. In an emergency, we will make efforts immediately to determine the cause, solve the problem, and prevent recurrence; moreover, we will strictly punish those responsible.
